🤖 ChatPDF
I think we are all aware that AI isn’t just a phase and won’t be going away anytime soon. I’ve written about it several times here - it’s a fantastic tool, as long as you keep in mind that it is exactly that - a tool that is by no means perfect. A tool that has garnered a lot of attention lately is ChatGPT. One of the limitations of ChatGPT though is that its knowledge cutoff is September 2021.
With that in mind, I came across this website recently that allows you to upload a PDF for analysis / summary. From my initial tests on a detailed 9 page PDF, it seems to work pretty well. Of course, your mileage may vary :)
▶️ YouTube Channel: Virtual Strategist
Wow, there is a LOT of practical content on this channel around organizational leadership, strategy and vision execution. I’ve just began digesting some of the content, but this is fantastic resource. A few of the specific playlists I’ve been enjoying:
Leadership & Culture
Implementation & Execution
Mission, Vision, Values
🎥 How Noiseless Prop Are Made
Having spent 20 years doing live theatre, it’s amazing that I’ve never had the thought “how do noiseless props get made?” or even “What is a noiseless prop?”. Super fascinating video!
As a side note, if you are local to MT and enjoy musical theatre, I highly recommend Grandstreet Theatre’s production of “Bright Star”. Bright Star was written by Steve Martin (yes, THAT Steve Martin) and is a fantastic show. The cast and crew are all top notch. Definitely worth checking out!
✅ Four Tests of Your Leadership
This article was recently resurfaced from my Evernote collection with some other research I was doing. It’s a couple years old, written in the middle of Covid, but the lessons contained within are just as applicable today. I found the four tests (Teams, Time, Troubles, Transitions) thought-provoking, but that’s not a surprise when reading John Maxwell’s stuff!
🔭 Northern Lights make spectacular appearance over Montana
Unfortunately, I missed this event as I was traveling, but apparently the Northern Lights made quite an appearance earlier this week. Check out this gallery of local photos. Amazing.
