Is It Faith or Fear?
Have you ever caught yourself saying something like:
“I’m just waiting for the right time.”?
It sounds wise.
Spiritual.
Even profound.
But let’s be honest—what we call wisdom can sometimes be avoidance.
We’re not waiting… we’re hiding.
We’re pretty good at spiritualizing our hesitation.
We say things like:
“I’m praying about it.”
“I just want to be faithful with what I have.”
“If it’s meant to be, the door will open.”
But under the surface, we’re afraid.
Afraid of failure.
Afraid of what others might think.
Afraid it might not work.
Sometimes we forget:
Faith doesn’t always feel confident.
Sometimes it looks like small steps with shaky hands.
Even the most sacred stories involve people taking risks:
Building an ark when it’s not raining.
Leaving what’s familiar without a full map.
Walking toward the unknown, one obedient step at a time.
Obedience often looks like risk:
Making the phone call.
Booking the ticket.
Showing up.
This week, ask yourself:
❓ What’s one decision I’ve been “praying about” for far too long?
Start small.
Start scared.
Just... start.
5 Questions To Ask Your Negative Thoughts
This is a really great list of questions from a psychologist’s point of view. Very practical.
Why I Disagree With the “Let Them” Theory
Mel Robbins’ book, “Let Them” has become quite the topic of conversation as of late. In a nutshell, the book encourages people to stop trying to control others and simply let them walk away. While that may sound good at first glance, there are questions I have with the theory, and this post captures them quite well.
Think Day Questions
This list of questions promotes dedicating one day each month to review. Good stuff.
